张金宇：1945年10月24日，联合国正式成立，走过了75年不平凡历程。今天的“武高之声”，我们来聊一聊联合国，大家好，我是张金宇。

Seventy-five years ago, the people of the world, with strenuous struggle and tremendous sacrifice, won the great victory in the World Anti-Fascist War. It was indeed a victory for justice and a victory for the people.

Through the first half of the last century, mankind had suffered the scourge of two devastating wars that brought untold sufferings to the world. It was against such a backdrop that the United Nations (UN) came into being. A new chapter has thus opened for peace and development in the world.

（75年前，世界人民经过浴血奋战，赢得世界反法西斯战争伟大胜利。这是正义的胜利、人民的胜利。在上个世纪前半叶人类两度身历惨不堪言的战祸之后，联合国应运而生。世界和平与发展掀开新篇章。）

刘鑫栎：大家好，我是刘鑫栎。When I searched the “United Nations” on the Internet, the first message I saw was “Peace, dignity and equality on a healthy planet. Obviously,that is the ideals of the United Nations and it is also the title of the United Nations website. At present, the UN is still play an important role in  peace.

（当我在网络上搜索联合国时，我看见的第一条讯息就是健康地球上的和平、尊严与平等。显而易见，这是联合国官网的标题也是联合国的理想。现在联合国依然在和平方面扮演着重要角色。）

张金宇：The United Nations was founded in the second world war by a inter-governmental international organization composed of sovereign states. One of the purposes of the United Nations is to maintain international peace and security。After World War II, factors of insecurity still exist in the world, and extreme and terrorist forces cannot be ignored. For instance，911，the war in Iraq ，and the border issue. The permanent members of the United Nations Security Council are China, France, Russia, The United Kingdom and the United States.

（联合国是在第二次世界大战后成立的一个由主权国家组成的政府间国际组织。联合国的宗旨之一是维护国际和平与安全。二战后，世界上不安全的因素依然存在，极端、恐怖势力是不可忽视的问题。例如911，伊拉克战争，边境问题。联合国安全理事会常任理事国是：中国、法国、俄罗斯、英国、美国。）

刘鑫栎：The United Nations has six principal organs, United Nations General Assembly, United Nations Security Council, United Nations Economic and Social Council, United Nations Trusteeship Council, International Court of Justice and United Nations Secretariat. They have different duties.

（联合国设有6个主要机关，他们是联合国大会、联合国安全理事会、联合国经济及社会理事会、联合国托管理事会、国际法院和联合国秘书处，他们有着不同的职能。）

张金宇：Since the 1990s, many conflicts have been stopped through United Nations coordination or through actions taken by third parties with United Nations support. The results showing, there is a 40 percent reduction in conflicts worldwide since the 1990s. The Preventive diplomacy and other preventive actions of the United Nations have prevent many wars to come. In addition, the UN uses peaceful ways.

（1990年代以来，通过联合国的协调或通过第三方在联合国支助下采取的行动制止了许多冲突。其中包括塞拉利昂、利比里亚、布隆迪、苏丹和尼泊尔冲突。研究结果显示，自1990年代以来，全世界冲突减少40%。联合国的预防性外交和其他预防性行动，避免了许多将发生的战争。此外，联合国采取了有关和平建设的措施。）

刘鑫栎：The United Nations has also made great contributions to human rights. When the United Nations was founded in 1945, one-third of the world's population lived in colonized countries. The United Nations played a role in the independence of more than 80 countries that had become sovereign states. Growing environmental problems are also the focus of the United Nations work.

（联合国也在人权方面做出巨大贡献。1945年成立联合国时，占世界三分之一的人口生活在殖民地半殖民地国家。联合国为80多个国家的独立发挥了作用，这些国家已成为主权国家。日益严重的环境问题现在也是联合国工作对象。）

张金宇：In the fight against the COVID-19，the United Nations has also made a great effort in wide world. As a teenager in a new time，we should not only study hard, but also have a sense of our country and make our own little contribution to world peace！

（在抗击新冠病毒的战役中，联合国在全球也积极努力。作为新时代的青年，我们不仅要努力学习科学文化知识，也要有家国情怀，为世界和平做出自己的一份贡献。）
