度此万圣节 识鬼魅身影

合： 今天的“武高之声”又如约和大家见面了。大家好，我是“新声音”徐鑫怡，我是“新声音”叶晶。

叶晶：今天我们一起聊聊西方的传统节日——万圣节。

徐鑫怡：Halloween is a holiday celebrated on October 31. By tradition, Halloween begins after sunset. Long ago, people believed that witches gathered together and ghosts roamed the world on Halloween. Today, most people no longer believe in ghosts and witches. But these supernatural beings are still a part of Halloween.（万圣节前夜是在10月31日庆祝的一个节日，根据传统，万圣节前夜的庆祝活动从太阳落山开始。在很久以前，人们相信在万圣节前夜女巫会聚集在一起，鬼魂在四处游荡。现在，大多数人们不再相信有鬼魂和女巫的存在了，但是他们仍然把这些作为万圣节前夜的一部分。）

叶晶：Dressing up in costumes is one of the most popular Halloween customs, especially among children. According to tradition, people would dress up in costumes to frighten the spirits away.（盛装是最受欢迎的万圣节风俗之一，尤其是受孩子们的欢迎。按照传统习俗，人们会盛装来吓跑鬼魂。）

徐鑫怡：流行的万圣节服装包括vampires（吸血鬼），ghosts（死者的灵魂）和werewolves（狼人）。

叶晶：那么说到万圣节，就不得不提到pumpink lanterns。南瓜灯，也叫做杰克灯，来源于爱尔兰的一个小故事。有个叫杰克的人非常吝啬，因而死后不能进入天堂，而且因为他取笑魔鬼也不能进入地狱，所以，他只能提着灯笼四处游荡，直到审判日那天。人们为了在万圣节前夜吓走这些游魂，便用南瓜雕刻成可怕的面孔来代表提着灯笼的杰克。南瓜灯也被当成了万圣节的象征。

徐鑫怡：Halloween is one of children's favourite nights of the year. They dress up as monsters and go to their neighbours'houses.They knock on the door and shout: "Trick or treat!" Of course, usually people give them "treats" ， like sweets and chocolates. But, if you don't, you can expect a prank.（ 万圣节前夜一年之中孩子们最喜欢的夜晚。打扮成妖怪去邻居家，敲着门大喊：“不给糖就捣蛋!”当然，人们通常会给“糖”——比如甜食或者巧克力。但你不给，那就等着一场恶作剧吧。）

叶晶：not only children, but most grown-ups also love halloween because on this day,they can get the satisfaction of being young.(不仅孩子，许多成年人也喜欢万圣节，因为这会让他们感受到年轻的快感。)
